DUNDEE High School and GHA have won the honour to play each other in the curtain-raiser to the final of the Commonwealth Games Rugby Sevens at Ibrox.

The two sides emerged as the top two teams in the Festival of Rugby on the 3G pitch at Scotstoun last weekend, staged as part of the Emirates Airlines Glasgow Sevens at Scotstoun.

But in the final on the main pitch at Scotstoun, played just after Scotland's win over USA, it was Dundee High School who finished winners. "GHA had most of the ball in the final but we took our chances when they arose and scored two very good tries," said Alan Campbell, the Dundee High director of sport.
