Jordan White is ready, willing and evidently able to shoot Stirling Albion to victory in their SPFL League 1 play-off final with East Fife.

The striker scored a hat trick as his side eased past Annan Athletic on Saturday with a comfortable aggregate victory.

Stirling's top scorer this season, White has now scored 22 goals and has another two matches in which to add to that tally. His most prized goal remains promotion, though, with the first leg against East Fife held on Wednesday.

"We're playing brilliantly and really enjoying our football, everything has clicked together at the right time," said White. "We can really fancy ourselves going into the final after scoring 16 goals in the last four games. East Fife will be sturdy but we have all the confidence in the world at the moment and I think we can do the business."

It would have been hard to argue on Saturday. David McClune found space to opening the scoring against Annan, before Stirling doubled the lead midway through the first half when White tapped in from close range for his first goal of the afternoon.

Annan gave themselves a slim chance of recovering the tie when Martin McNiff nodded past David Crawford five minutes before the break. Ally Love then provided a clinical finish to make it 5-3 on aggregate.

However, Martin McNiff was sent off for a second bookable offence and Craig Comrie made the extra man count as he put the tie beyond reach by firing the ball into the net after Kenny Arthur had blocked White's initial effort.

White then scored twice in as many minutes to complete his first hat trick of the season and make the tie 8-3, before Annan's Scott Davidson completed the scoring in injury time.
