BRIAN REID, the former Morton player, has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant job at Cappielow.

The former Ayr manager took over at Nuneaton Town last month and insists he is not willing to walk away from the Conference Premier side after waiting two years for his chance in England.

The Dundee defender Matt Lockwood, however, has expressed interest in the post. Lockwood, a UEFA A and B licence holder, has coached at Dundee regularly since joining them after a 15-year career in England.
