Shaleum Logan has agreed a pre-contract with Aberdeen, the Pittodrie club have confirmed.

The 26-year-old defender arrived on loan from Brentford in January and played in the club's Scottish League Cup final win over Inverness at Celtic Park in March. Logan will join the club officially at the start of July on a two-year deal.

Manager Derek McInnes said: "He will no longer be a loan player and will be an Aberdeen player and I think that's really important.

"I thought he showed enough in his loan spell with us last season in terms of his qualities and we're just looking for that consistency of performance going forward."
