RICKY SBRAGIA, the Scotland Under-19s coach, has acknowledged that he will continue to scour the planet for eligible talent.

He watched as his team finished bottom of their Euro Elite Group following a defeat by Montenegro and will now turn his attention to identifying new players to invite into the set up.

The former Sunderland manager - who continues to monitor the progress made by Jack Harper at Real Madrid - plans to conduct his search as far afield as the United States and Australia.

"We are looking outside at players in America, in Australia, abroad," said Sbragia. "You are constantly looking to get numbers and get better. There has got to be Scots all over the place, hasn't there? I went over to Australia and saw a Scot playing at right-back.

"There's a lot of work on the road. We are looking at more games, winning new contacts, the more contacts we get the better to help us with players we are maybe not aware of yet."
