LOCALLY-based Keith Dalgleish scooped the feature race at Hamilton Park last night as George Rooke pipped Khelman by a head in the Strathclyde Loch Handicap.

After Tom Eaves had dismounted from the 100-30 winner, Dalgleish said: "He's a nice horse and it's always great to get on the scoresheet here as it's just down the road."

Julie Burke received a nine-day careless riding ban after a nasty incident in the Book Now For Saints & Sinners Handicap.

Just after half-way, her mount Scoreline interfered with Lady Ranger who unseated Megan Carberry, who fell heavily. Carberry was said to have escaped with cuts.
