Aberdeen warmed up for their Europa League qualifier against Daugava Riga with a comprehensive 7-0 friendly win over Arbroath at Gayfield Park.

Aberdeen never looked back after taking an early lead through Mark Reynolds as they remained unbeaten in pre-season, with a brace from Barry Robson putting the visitors 3-0 up at the break.

Last season's Scottish Premiership runners-up then added four more goals in the second half through Peter Pawlett, Willo Flood, Adam Rooney and Nicky Low to wrap up a one-side triumph over their League Two opponents.

The Dons host Latvian side Daugava in the first leg of their Europa League first qualifying round tie on Thursday.
