Alan Stubbs, Hibernian's head coach, says Alex Harris is regaining his confidence and the form which made him an integral part of the team.

The winger, whose impact fell away after ankle surgery last August, scored his second goal in two pre-season games at Stirling Albion on Sunday.

"When you're young and there is a lot expected of you, it's a lot of pressure. I'm trying to take that away from him; he needs to concentrate on enjoying football," said Stubbs of the 19-year-old, who scored one goal and set up another in Hibs' Scottish Cup semi-final win over Falkirk. "His confidence is growing."

Stubbs also believes Paul Heffernan will be ready for Hibs' Petrofac Training Cup tie with Rangers on August 5 despite a thigh injury keeping the striker from playing any warm-up matches.
