HENRIK OJAMAA may be eligible to make his Fir Park return as early as tomorrow after re-signing with Motherwell last night.

The man nicknamed "The Sheriff" in his first spell at the Lanarkshire club has returned on loan until January from parent club Legia Warsaw, racking up 34 appearances and two goals last season.

The pacey Estonian first burst on to the scene in claret and amber in 2012, scoring 11 times in a successful 18-month spell before the Polish champions signed him last summer.

But despite him featuring heavily for Legia - albeit not against Celtic in the controversial Champions League qualifier - Stuart McCall, the Motherwell manager, has brought Ojamaa back to help bolster his frontline.

The striker flew into Glasgow last night and Motherwelll are now waiting international clearance for Ojamaa to make his return tomorrow at Fir Park against John Hughes' Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

"He is exactly what we need at this present moment," said McCall. "We kept saying we need a 'Henrik Ojamaa' type player then thought, we might as well see if we can try and get him back. I am delighted."
