Max Verstappen, the teenager who will become the youngest driver in F1 history, is confident he can handle the pressure and insists he is not worried about the sport's dangers.
The 16-year-old is joining Toro Rosso for the 2015 campaign. Verstappen - currently competing in Formula Three - will replace Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne at the Red Bull-owned team.
"I am a relaxed guy, so I think I will handle it," he said. "I hope to offer a lot of action. But I think, in the end, I am quite relaxed. You have to work hard for it, but at the same time you can also have a little fun.
"I'm not that worried about it. The cars are really safe. I think it's more dangerous to cycle through a big city than to race in an F1 car."
