Jordan White's double helped Livingston on the way to a convincing win over Hearts in the Petrofac Training Cup.

White set the tone when he struck home a loose ball from a corner in just the sixth the minute.

In the face of some strong pressure from the Tynecastle side after the restart, Livingston game themselves some breathing space thanks to White's second, which came after he nodded home Keaghan Jacobs' cross in the 76th minute.

Myles Hippolyte made it three after 81 minutes courtesy of a fine solo goal and David Roberston put the icing on the cake three minutes later with a calm finish.

Hearts did register at the death when Jason Talbot put through his own net, but their 100 per cent start to the season ended abruptly.
