Glasgow Warriors last night confirmed that George Hunter, Will Bordill and Gregor Hunter have each signed one-year training contracts with the club.
Both Bordill and George Hunter had agreed deals already to play for Ayr in the BT Premiership this season when they are not involved with the Scotstoun side.
The campaign will be occupied predominantly by rehabilitation for Gregor Hunter, though. The stand-off - who left Edinburgh recently - underwent a knee operation earlier this summer and is not expected to be fit enough to return to competitive action for nine months. His training contract requires him to help out at Glasgow Hawks during his time on the sidelines.

"Unfortunately for Gregor, he suffered a recurrence of a knee injury during our pre-season training," said Gregor Townsend, the Warriors head coach, as his club launched its new strips ahead of the 2014/15 season. "We're all really disappointed for Gregor. However, he'll still have a big role to play at the club off the field."
It will be steady progress, at least when compared to that of both Gregor Hunter and Bordill. The latter was recruited by the Warriors last summer following a spell with Sale Sharks, while George Hunter has been at the club for four years. The 22-year-old was on loan at London Scottish last term.
Both players will now be given opportunity to impress the coaches at Warriors, while also gaining further experience at Ayr. "This is a really positive move for both clubs and is definitely a win-win situation," said Billy McHarg, the Ayr president.
"Will and George will be able to benefit from being involved with Ayr and Glasgow Warriors next season. It's a good opportunity for these players to potentially earn full-time professional contracts and for us to continue to work closely with the Warriors."
This was a message delivered by Townsend too. "This an opportunity for George, Will and Gregor to be heavily involved with us," said Townsend. "We know George and Will very well, with both having been a part of our [elite development team] group last season. They will add to the depth of our squad."
