Dunfermline Athletic moved menacingly up the table after a 2-1 win at Stranraer.

Chigozie Ugwu netted after five minutes but the Fifers' Ross Millen was sent off for a last-man challenge before the break.

Stranraer new boy Willie Gibson equalised from the free-kick but Michael Moffat scored the winner after Craig Malcolm picked up a second yellow card.

Jordon Brown hit a late equaliser to earn Peterhead a point in a 1-1 draw at Brechin City. Paul McLean had put Brechin in front.

Forfar Athletic beat Morton 3-2 at Station Park. Gavin Swankie's opener was cancelled out by Declan McManus but Danny Denholm and Swankie again put Forfar in control. Reece Hands got Morton's late second.
