AYR UNITED have followed the surprise signing of Craig Beattie with another boost by tying up Alan Forrest on a new two-year contract.
The winger, brother of Celtic star James, has enjoyed a strong start to the season, scoring twice and helping Ayr to the summit of SPFL League 1.
"He is a pleasure to work with and the type of lad who just wants to play football every week, learn and get better," said Mark Roberts, the manager. "He is getting stronger and fitter and he is going to improve."
