BOOKIES have made Scotland the longest odds in their history to win a game when they face World Cup winners Germany in Dortmund on Sunday.

Gordon Strachan's side face a tough task in their opening European Championship qualifier against the men who became world champions this summer.

Scottish firm McBookie.com have made Scotland as much as 16/1 to come home with three points.

"This is the longest odds Scotland have ever been to win a game," said Paul Petrie, McBookie.com spokesman. "But with the way Gordon Strachan has got Scotland playing, I'm sure we will see plenty of money for a famous Scottish win."
