SCOTLAND international winger Robert Snodgrass is being lined-up to make an October comeback for Hull City after more than a year on the sidelines.

Snodgrass has been sidelined since dislocating his kneecap and damaging ligaments just 40 minutes into his Premier League debut for Hull in last season's opening game of the campaign at Queens Park Rangers.

As if that wasn't bad enough, Snodgrass, who cost Hull £7m from Norwich City last summer, then had to sit and watch as Hull were relegated.

But manager Steve Bruce has revealed that there is now light at the end of the tunnel for Snodgrass.

Bruce said: "With Snodgrass, we expect him to be back in the next six weeks or so."
