Celtic are on the brink of securing their fifth successive Scottish Premiership title, which will be departing manager Ronny Deila's second at the Parkhead club.
Neil Lennon picked up the three previous to that, making this the longest period of Parkhead dominance since the 1970’s.
We have looked back at the previous four title wins, and where the Championship was won.
2011/12 title
Kilmarnock 0-6 Celtic (7th April 2012)
Neil Lennon wrapped up the first of his 3 titles with a hammering of Kilmarnock.
Charlie Mulgrew was the star man, scoring 2 and setting up 2. Glenn Loovens, Gary Hooper and Joe Ledley also got in on the act.
But this title had looked unlikely back in October at the same venue. Kilmarnock were leading 3-0 at half time, and had it stayed that way Neil Lennon would have been more than likely picking up his P45 the following morning.
But the Hoops came back to grab an unlikely point, and go on a 21-game unbeaten run. That, combined with Rangers entering administration, with the penalty of a 10-point deduction, meant that Celtic were crowned champions for the first time since 2008.
2012/13 title
Celtic 4-1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle (21st April 2013)
Despite the lack of Rangers in the top-flight, Celtic were not as convincing as they should have been this season.
Seven defeats across the campaign meant the title party was a few weeks later than in the previous season.
Gary Hooper was again in the thick of it as he grabbed two goals. Joe Ledley and Georgios Samaras completed the scoring. This was the 44th time the league trophy would go to Glasgow’s east end.
2013/2014 title
Partick Thistle 1-5 Celtic (26th March 2014)
Neil Lennon made it a hat-trick of titles, making him only the fourth Celtic boss to achieve that feat.
His side were utterly dominant throughout the league campaign, only losing one game and scoring over a century of goals.
Indeed, the title was won in March by destroying a helpless Thistle.
Anthony Stokes scored a brace, with Stefan Johansen, Liam Henderson and Kris Commons rounding off the thumping. Lennon would depart after this campaign, being replaced by Ronny Delia.
2014/15 title (2nd May 2015)
The Norwegian made it four-in-a-row for the Bhoys in his first season in charge.
However, unlike in previous campaigns, the Hoops won the league courtesy of results elsewhere.
After Celtic crushed Dundee 5-0 the day before, they knew if closest challengers, Aberdeen, dropped any points against Dundee United they would be crowned Champions.
The Dons lost at Tannadice meaning a 46th title for Celtic. It hadn’t all been plain sailing though, with Derek McInnes’ men putting in a stern challenge right up until a vital 4-0 win at Parkhead propelled Celtic clear at the top.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
