COLIN KAZIM-RICHARDS'S forgettable time at Celtic could be ended this week as he is being lined up for a move to Brazil.
A cull of fringe players at the Scottish champions had been expected and it would come as little surprise if the misfit striker, who failed to make any impact since his January move, was the first to be allowed to leave by new manager Brendan Rodgers.
Brazilian club, Coritiba, who play in the top flight, have been quoted as having an interest in the Turkish international and there is even a suggestion a deal could be done over the next few days for the 29-year-old.

"We are working on it. He will arrive here on Tuesday," claimed Valdir Barbosa, the club's director of football, to Soccer News. "His wife is Brazilian."
And the Brazilian outfit's coach, Gilson Kleina, spoke highly of what the English-born Kazim-Richards could add to his side.
"We were offered him," said Kelina. "I spoke with him and also with the clubs where he played in Turkey, the Netherlands and Scotland. I am sure Kazim may be a surprise in Brazilian football."
The signing of Kazim-Richards in the last transfer window always seemed an odd move by Celtic. His reputation for off-field controversy vastly overshadowed his ability.

Despite being a striker he has scored only 55 goals throughout his entire career, two of them coming in Scotland.
Carlton Cole, another signing which raised eyebrows, will also likely be off-loaded as Rodgers looks to trim and also strengthen Celtic's bloated first-team squad.
