DUNDEE UNITED have announced that goalkeeper Michal Szromnik has left Tannadice by mutual consent.

The Poland Under-21 international had a year remaining on his deal with the Tangerines, but had struggled to tie down a regular first-team spot.

Szromnik made 10 appearances for United last season, but had fallen behind Eiji Kawashima and Luis Zwick in the pecking order by the end of the campaign.
