Best player - Antoine Griezmann.

The Atletico Madrid striker may have drawn a blank in the final against Portugal on Sunday evening. But his six goals for France made him comfortably the top scorer in the tournament and the best player. He was a delight to watch and posed a constant threat.

Outstanding team - Iceland.

They may have gone out in the quarter-finals after a crushing 5-2 loss to hosts France in Saint-Denis. But for the tiny Nordic island, which boasts a population of under 350,000, to reach the last eight was extraordinary. Victory over a disbelieving England in the last 16 was the highlight. Euro 2016 will forever be remembered for their Viking Thunder Clap celebration.

Most successful manager - Lars Lagerback.

The veteran Swedish coach worked wonders with Iceland. The 67-year-old, who has now retired from football, is sure to be inundated with offers tempting him back into the game.

Greatest goal - Hal Robson-Kanu against Belgium.

The man without a club helped to fire Wales into the semi-final of Euro 2016 with a Cruyff Turn that wrongfooted three opposition defenders and a cool finish past Thibaut Courtois. Delightful.

Biggest disappointment - England.

Roy Hodgson's side, tipped by many before the finals got underway to challenge strongly, were absolutely woeful. The loss to Iceland, a country with a population smaller than that of Coventry, was the worse moment in their international history.
