In another Tweet from the football club's official account, Sir Alex Ferguson said: “I was delighted when Queen’s Park got in touch and asked me to help launch their new strip."

Sir Alex retired in May 2013 following 26 trophy-laden years as manager at Manchester United.

He is regarded as one of the greatest managers the game has ever seen and has been enjoying his life since, remaining a director and club ambassador at Old Trafford.
