SCOTLAND captain Greig Laidlaw has been ruled of out the Autumn Test series with injury.
The Clermont Auvergne scrum-half suffered a broken leg after coming off the bench during his club's Champions Cup win over Ospreys last weekend.
A scan has now revealed that the 32-year-old has suffered a fracture in his fibula and the French club have estimated that Laidlaw will be out of action for 10 to 12 weeks.

Scotland face Samoa, New Zealand and Australia at Murrayfield in three successive weekends between 11 and 25 November.
Glasgow Warriors' Ali Price now appears to be Gregor Townsend's most likely option for the number nine shirt, with clubmate Henry Pyrgos and Edinburgh's Sam Hidalgo-Clyne also offering competition.
Laidlaw has suffered an injury-hit year, having been ruled out of the final three Six Nations games at the start of the year after suffering an ankle injury during the defeat to France in Paris.
He also missed the national team's summer tour, having been called into the British and Irish Lions squad for the tour of New Zealand.
