TOM Rogic says that Celtic have a responsibility to get the job done when Anderlecht visit in their final Champions League group game on Tuesday.

The Scottish champions will be guaranteed Europa League football after Christmas if they avoid losing by three goals or more at Parkhead, thanks to their 3-0 win in Belgium earlier in the campaign.

Celtic lost all four of their matches against Group B rivals Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, but the Australian midfielder thinks his side's display in the 2-1 defeat to the German champions on Halloween has instilled confidence in the players.

“Any European night at home is always special,” he told the Celtic View.

“We know what the atmosphere is going to be like so as a player you don’t need any added motivation at all.

"These are special nights and it’s our responsibility as players to go out there on the pitch, perform and get the job done. We're always confident at home, knowing we have that support there. It’s an important match. We understand that and we will be looking to get the job done.

“In particular, the Bayern Munich game at home has given us as players, and I guess the supporters, a lot of confidence going into the match. It’s something to build on. We always want to improve and become better players and a better team and we will be looking to build on that for sure."
