GRAEME MURTY hopes Josh Windass can go from strength to strength and showcase his talents for Rangers more often this season.
The midfielder continued his fine run of recent form by netting the crucial second goal in the win over Aberdeen on Sunday.
It was the fourth time in six matches that Windass has found the target after also scoring against Hearts, Partick Thistle and Dundee in recent weeks.

And interim Ibrox boss Murty is confident there is plenty more to come from the 23-year-old in Light Blue.
He said: “Josh has some fantastic assets, some brilliant attributes and we need to take away anything which is clouding his mind and clouding his judgement and just let him go be Josh.
“If that means giving him a freer role at the top of the pitch then I think it works.
“If you look at the amount of time he makes up ground, he puts defenders under pressure and they make mistakes just because he is there, and they are scared of his pace.
“I have been really pleased with him the last two games but if you look at the stats and his data, the amount of ground he covers at high speed is at the very top level in the English Premier League.
“The pace he can get to we need to find a way to harness that and we have managed to do that in the last couple of games but it is up to Josh to make sure he reaches those standards all the time.”
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
