ALEX McLeish has included six new faces in his Scotland squad for this month's friendlies against Costa Rica and Hungary.

Wolves full-back Barry Douglas, Hearts goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin and Aberdeen youngster Scott McKenna have earned international selection for the first time.

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has also earned a maiden call-up after committing to Scotland last week, while Barnsley striker Oli McBurnie and Hibernian midfielder Dylan McGeough could also be set for their international debuts.

Rangers defender Russell Martin returns to the squad, while Newcastle winger Matt Ritchie and Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney have also been recalled.

Scotland face Costa Rica at Hampden Park on 23 March before travelling to Hungary on 27 March.

The national team will then embark on a summer tour to Peru and Mexico at the end of the season ahead of the inaugural UEFA Nations League at the end of the year.
