ZAK RUDDEN was too young to see Peter Lovenkrands score Old Firm winners, lift league titles or star in European action for Rangers.
But the striker reckons the former Ibrox forward can help him realise his own Light Blues ambitions in the coming years.
Rudden has been working closely with Lovenkrands in recent months as he attempts to improve his game and earn his chance to shine at Ibrox.

And the 18-year-old is thankful for the time and effort the Dane has put in following his return to Rangers as an Academy coach.
Rudden said: “It has been the best thing that has happened to me in a long time at Rangers.
“If you look at the coaches I have had in the past, they have been defenders or midfielders and we haven’t had a more attacking players as a coach.
“So to have Peter in has benefitted me a lot and I can ask him anything about certain situations, what I have done right or wrong.

“He will just tweak my game and show me where I should have moved or what I should have done.
“I have been listening and learning and he has been going over my game so it has been very helpful. It has been great for me.
“I was a bit young when he was at Rangers but I have watched videos of him and seen his goals and looked at how he played. I admire him as a player for Rangers, but he was unbelievable at Newcastle as well.”
