Novak Djokovic racked up his 800th career win on Friday and insisted he has no intention of hanging up his racket soon.
The Serb beat Adrian Mannarino 7-5, 6-1 to reach the semi-finals of the Fever-Tree Championships at Queen's, becoming just the 10th player in the open era to reach the landmark.
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are the only other players in that club that are still active and, despite two years of struggle, Djokovic has no plans to go anywhere soon.
"It's a milestone, and of course it's a great achievement," he said. "Every achievement is a great achievement. I should be happy for it and proud of it.
"It's still the sport that I love with all my heart. I put in that heart every single day, and I'm just very glad to be able to play semi-finals here after Rome and Roland Garros tournaments that went pretty well for me."
Djokovic will meet Frenchman Jeremy Chardy in the semi-finals after a routine 6-4, 6-4 win over American youngster Frances Tiafoe.
Nick Kyrgios and Marin Cilic will meet in the other blockbusting semi-final.
Kyrgios sent down 32 aces for the second match running as he got the better of defending champion Feliciano Lopez 7-6 (7/5), 7-6 (7/3).
Cilic continued to prove himself a contender at Wimbledon next month by easing past Sam Querrey 7-6 (7/3), 6-2.
Federer moved closer to his 10th Gerry Weber Cup title in Halle with a straight-sets victory over Australian Matthew Ebden.
Federer, who needs to win in Germany this week to maintain his position as world No.1, racked up a 19th successive victory on grass with a 7-6 (7/2), 7-5 success.
If he is to get to double figures in Halle it will be his 99th career title, which will give him a shot at his century at Wimbledon.
He will next meet Denis Kudla, who got the better of Yuichi Sugita 6-2, 7-5.
Roberto Bautista Agut had a battle with Karen Khachanov but prevailed 6-3, 6-7 (3/7), 6-3 and Borna Coric beat Andreas Seppi 7-5 6-3.
Mihaela Buzarnescu, meanwhile, continued her remarkable season by upsetting second seed Elina Svitolina in the quarter-finals of the Nature Valley Classic in Birmingham.
The 30-year-old Romanian swept to a 6-3, 6-2 victory for a repeat of her upset at the French Open three weeks ago and a place in her first WTA Premier semi-final.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
