In pictures: baton relay day 7 - South Ayrshire

The Queen's Baton has reached its sixth day, and is making its way through South Ayrshire.

The baton will begin its tour in Ballantrae, and will pass through Girvan, Maybole, Alloway, Rozelle Park, Mossblown, Tarbolton, Symington, Dundonald, Troon and Prestwick, before finishing up in Ayr.

Tomorrow - day eight - will see the baton travel through East Ayrshire, stopping at Dalmellington, New Cumnock, Cumnock, Auchinleck, Mauchline, Galston, Stewarton, Kilmaurs, Crosshouse and Kilmarnock.
