South Africa have confirmed four players have become unavailable for their rugby sevens campaign, including Test stars Bryan Habana and Schalk Brits.

After Habana and Brits were withdrawn by their clubs, Toulon and Saracens respectively, SAR announced that Cheslin Kolbe of Western Province had injured a knee and Warren Galant, who would have replaced Kolbe, was injured at the weekend and faces surgery.

Mark Richards, who won gold as part of the South Africa sevens team at the World Games in Colombia last year, joins the squad.
