CRICKET Scotland have announced they are hosting 29 games during the ICC World T20 Qualifying.

The competition, which takes place over next month, is being jointly hosted by Ireland and 12 associate nations plus the two hosts will take part, with six places up for grabs for the T20 World Cup in India next year.

The Grange will be the main television venue for the Scottish-leg of the qualifiers, the only matches which will be ticketed.

Willie Donald, the Cricket Scotland Interim CEO, said: "We have been looking forward to co-hosting this competition for some-time now.

"As an organisation we are eager to show our ability both on and off the pitch, in what will be the most high-profile tournament to be hosted in Scotland since the 1999 World Cup.

"We will be hosting 29 matches on Scottish soil and are looking forward to welcoming the public to watch some high quality cricket while also giving Scotland their full support."

Entry to all matches for under-16s will be free of charge, as will all the games played at Stirling, Myreside and Goldenacre.
