Pete Steindl, the Saltires coach, believes that the runs galore being scored by Richie Berrington, pictured, are simply a case of him reaping the reward for hard work.
The Greenock batsman scored a match-winning 75 not out as Scotland broke their South African tour duck with victory against North-West Dragons on Wednesday. It followed the 25-year-old's superb 113 – also unbeaten – against the same opponents in last week's drawn three- day match.
