Carter to make up for lost time

NEIL Carter once punished the Saltires with the highest score of his career but the adopted Scot is ready to make amends.

The South African-born all-rounder was in his pomp when he smashed 135 for Warwickshire in a C&G Trophy match in 2006, but the 38-year-old now has his sights on helping Scotland reach two World Cups.
