Pete Steindl, the Saltires coach, has given his side a mixed mid-term report as they take a break from this season's jousts with the English counties.
A frustrating CB40 campaign has produced just one win from seven fixtures, with four defeats and two 'no results'. It is a record that Steindl believes could, and should, be better.
"We are nowhere close to where we want to be but we are moving in the right direction," he said. "The CB40 games are vital to us and we want to play them all, so it's frustrating that the weather prevented two from finishing.
