This will form part of the festivities at a Caribbean-themed afternoon, with club official, Peter Hemspey echoing the thoughts of many people when he said: "Hopefully with sunshine, and not tropical showers."
Greenidge's presence offers a chance to recall how the Barbados batsman, who amassed 7558 runs during 128 Tests for the Windies between 1974 and 1991, was persuaded to turn out for Greenock in the Western Union, as well as making six appearances for Scotland in 1990, including four in the B & H Cup.
