Jaison McGrath, formerly of Hamilton, has signed for St Mirren
St Mirren have signed former Hamilton Academical striker Jaison McGrath on a deal until the end of the season. A one-time youth player with Celtic, McGrath signed with Sunderland in 2012 before returning north to sign with Hamilton a year later.
The 19-year-old made five appearances for the New Douglas Park side before Accies released him during this year’s January transfer window. He moved back to Celtic Park where he played in the Glasgow side’s Development League team over the second half of last season. McGrath, who was on trial with Saints after being released by Celtic, has been assigned squad number 21.
