CELTIC flop Nadir Ciftci has been hit with a three-game ban and a £6,000 fine from the Turkish FA for verbally abusing the ref, after he was sent off in only his second game for his loan club Eskisehirspor.

The Turkish striker has already been forced to serve a six-match ban served on him by the SFA at the start of the season after a biting incident with Dundee's Jim McAllster last term.

And his loan move back to his homeland has got off to a terrible start after his latest misdemeanour.

Ciftci was sent off in his second match against Antalyaspor after receiving two yellow cards in a minute and he gave ref Cuneyt Cakir a volley of abuse.

He was reported to the Turkish FA after the outburst and was hit with a three-game ban for 'unsportsmanlike behaviour towards the referee' and also handed the additional £6,000 fine.

The £1.5m hitman was subbed after just 34 minutes of his first game too.

Ciftci managed just four goals for Celtic before he left for Turkey, but manager Ronny Deila has insisted he still sees the Turk as part of his plans for next season.
