CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership manager of the season after leading the Hoops to their sixth successive title. 

The Northern Irishman has overseen a vast improvement at Parkhead since his arrival last summer, leading them back to the Champions League group stages and on course for only the fourth Treble in the club's history. 

Celtic wrapped up the league title at the start of April and are on course to finish the season unbeaten after racking up a 46-game domestic run without defeat.

Captain Scott Brown has scooped the Premiership player of the year award after an impressive campaign at the heart of Rodgers' midfield. 

The 31-year-old has made 32 league appearances for the Bhoys this season, contributing one goal and one assist in the process. 

Celtic face Hearts in their final Premiership fixture on Sunday before attempting to complete the Treble in next weekend's Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen at Hampden Park.
