FORMER Ibrox defender Gregory Vignal has urged Rangers to make the most of their Scottish Cup chance this term.

Graeme Murty’s side face Celtic in the semi-finals at Hampden next month.

Vignal won the SPL and League Cup in 2005 and said: “There is a big chance to win the cup and that is very important. That is why you are playing for Rangers.

“The fans expect it. They expect to win everything. That is why the players are there, to win trophies.

“That is part of the game when you are playing for big clubs, that is normal. It is normal that everyone is pushing for something. We will see.

“Of course it would be big. For the boys and for Graeme, it would be great if they can win the cup. There are two big games to go to win the cup.”
