However, for one fan, the striker's name almost adorned another part of his anatomy.

Just hours before Paulo Sergio's side strode out at Hampden to face Celtic, Beattie's attention was focused on the internet, having offered two tickets for the match to the supporter who told him the funniest joke. It was to prove a successful venture, with the winning Twitter follower getting to see his heroes overcome Neil Lennon's side to set up an all-Edinburgh final against Hibernian this weekend.
