Back where it all began

Lee Robinson, the Queen of the South goalkeeper, had imagined making Ibrox his home during a five-year spell at Rangers but he will endeavour to be a discourteous house guest when he returns to his former club tonight.

The Englishman left Rangers three years ago and has since established himself at Queen of the South.

The Dumfries side take on Rangers in the quarter-finals of the Ramsdens Cup this evening and will rely heavily on Robinson making the most of the talents he honed as a youngster at Ibrox. His potential was constricted to youth and reserve football, though, his route to the first team blocked by the likes of Stefan Klos and Allan McGregor.
