Hearts are still facing grave financial problems despite director Sergejus Fedotovas revealing that they have almost halved the playing budget from £8m to just more than £4m since the summer.
Despite that massive drop, the club – whose last recorded debt was £24m – are still facing financial hardship after last week appealing to supporters over their bid to raise £1.79m in a share issue.
