Boruc: We have to win with style

ARTUR BORUC admits Poland are in a no-win situation in Scotland's Euro 2016 group when they are the visitors for Gibraltar's first ever competitive game.

The British colony will open their Euro 2016 campaign, when Poland play them at the same time as Scotland face Germany on Sunday, after they were granted full status by UEFA last year.

The game will take place in Faro, Portugal because Gibraltar do not have a suitable stadium built yet.

"Only three points is acceptable - everyone knows that," said Boruc, who is no longer guaranteed to start after losing his Southhampton place to Fraser Forster. "Even if we do win, people will say we didn't win well enough. We have to play with some style to get any praise."
