Lennon's stock has risen dramatically this season after guiding the Parkhead club to the last 16 of the Champions League, beating Barcelona along the way. His name will now unvariably be linked with managerial vacancies in the Barclays Premier League as they arise but Boyd, the former Celtic defender and captain, hopes the chance of coaching most seasons in the Champions League will entice Lennon to stay put for the foreseeable future.
