Brown offers Aberdeen fans hope of better times ahead

Craig Brown assumed the role of salesman yesterday as he sat before the media and endeavoured to persuade Aberdeen's support they will have something more acceptable to cheer next term.

As Aberdeen limp towards the summer recess, Brown recognises that a lack of goals from a side devoid of flair and creativity meant performances flatlined too long ago and, with a number of players heading for the exit, he must resuscitate not only his squad but the interest of the fans.
