The Parkhead side made light of their midweek exertions against Benfica as they strolled to this comfortable victory against the SPL's basement dwellers, winning by a margin which would have been significantly greater had it not been for the contribution of their former goalkeeping stalwart Rab Douglas. The 40-year-old made a superb diving save to keep out a first-half Scott Brown penalty, produced a string of other excellent interventions besides, and generally did enough to cause some wags with longer memories to observe rather unkindly that he was due a good game in this stadium some time or other.
