Celtic 4 Kilmarnock 1: Lennon's perfect riposte to Shiels

An unlikely double from defender Adam Matthews helped Celtic to a commanding victory over Kilmarnock in their Clydesdale Bank Premier League encounter at Parkhead.

For Neil Lennon, it was a satisfying response to opposition manager Kenny Shiels, who had provoked a war of words between the pair in recent days.

The only real downside for Lennon, who got the reaction he wanted after his side were knocked out of the Scottish Communities League Cup by St Mirren at Hampden on Sunday, was the injuries picked up by Izaguirre and Georgios Samaras.
