Pretty much everything the Englishman touched against Raith Rovers in the Scottish Communities League Cup turned to goals, the four strikes he helped himself to against the Irn Bru first division side in this third-round tie being the first time a Celtic player had scored four goals in a match since . . . .well, since Hooper himself scored all five in a 5-0 win on the final day of last season against Hearts.
