Celtic to play Leverkusen as part of Champions League preparations

Celtic have announced they will take on German outfit Bayer Leverkusen in Finland this summer as part of their potential Champions League preparations.

Neil Lennon's Scottish Premiership leaders - who are on course to win their third title in a row - will face the Bundesliga side in a friendly at Helsinki's Olympic Stadium on Saturday, August 2.

The German outfit, currently third in the German top-flight, are managed by former Finland defender Sami Hyypia, while the Hoops have striker Teemu Pukki in their line-up.
