Celtic have seen their winter break plans hit by the cancellation of their flight to Turkey.

Neil Lennon and his squad were due to fly to Antalya on Monday afternoon but the flight to the coastal resort in south-west Turkey was cancelled.

A Celtic spokesperson said: "Unfortunately there was a problem with the incoming chartered aircraft, however we are looking to reschedule our departure for tomorrow."

Celtic took up the option to postpone their Scottish Premiership fixture with Kilmarnock on Saturday in order to head for some warm-weather training.

They are also due to take part in the Turkish Airlines Antalya Cup, where they are scheduled to play Trabzonspor on Thursday evening before facing either Ajax or Galatasaray at the weekend.
