TOPE Obadeyi has admitted he will use his pace to hit the ground running in Scottish football, having agreed a move to Kilmarnock.

The winger signed a three-year contract at Rugby Park following his release by Burton earlier this summer.

His career to date has been somewhat itinerant. Obadeyi started at Bolton Wanderers, with the club sending him on loan five times before he then joined Rio Ave in Portugal. A spell at Bury - which included loans to Plymouth Argyle - ended in May and he spent pre-season on trial with Kilmarnock.

He is confident of success in Scotland "I definitely rely on my pace," the 24-year-old said. "From a young age that has always been a part of my game and I use it to my advantage. The gaffer here likes that."
